Meet Michelle — baker, event designer, proud Cairns local
Michelle Mann came to Australia from Canada 30 years ago and has called the Cairns region home for the last 20. She brings what she cheerfully calls her Canadian loudness — and don't let that intimidate you — to a business built on quieter things: care, detail, and cakes made one at a time in her Edmonton kitchen.

From corporate events to cakes
Before A Day 4 Eternity, Michelle spent years in the corporate world organising functions, events and conferences from big cities to the outback — including fully planning a celebrity couple's outback station wedding that was featured in Woman's Day magazine, complete with a Welcome to Country, a locally sourced kangaroo and barramundi feast, and fireworks over the desert. That experience is why her cakes turn up on time, suit the room, and never create drama on the day.
An artist's eye
In her downtime Michelle paints and makes floral arrangements to sell at local markets — and it shows in the cakes. Brushwork in the decoration, flowers placed just so, hand-painted fondant: every cake and even every cupcake is treated as a small piece of artwork. It may taste like home, but it looks like a million dollars.
Made in a home kitchen, not on a production line
A Day 4 Eternity is a registered home-based food business. That's a deliberate choice: no factory line, no competing bread orders, no rushing. Each cake gets the attention a fast-paced bakery can't give — made with local tropical ingredients, fruits and flowers bought directly from Cairns suppliers, because supporting the community she sells to matters to her.

Cakes for locals, at local prices
Twenty years in one region builds a contact book. Michelle has personally vetted the florists, caterers, celebrants and venues she works beside, and she prices for the people who live here — reasonable prices for locals, from a person who cares, in the place you're celebrating.
